Three to five years’ experience as a Technical Writer creating procedures, instructions, flow charts, training materials, PowerPoint presentations, user guides, and manuals – military documentation experience a plus. Ability to edit own and other’s writing for grammar, structure, and format based on local style guides and templates. Portfolio of samples required.
Experience with program management, delivering training, long and short term planning, prioritizing task load, interacting with management personnel and project stakeholders. Ability to work with Subject Matter Experts and tactfully negotiate solutions to documentation and program challenges.
Experience in a regulatory environment with the ability to disseminate program requirements from higher level regulations and apply them to current location and program needs. Experience with Emergency Management and Continuity of Operations a plus.
Candidate must be flexible, highly organized, and be able to work on a team and independently. Superior written and verbal skills are mandatory. Will be expected to produce deliverables in a timely manner without oversight based on program requirements and deadlines. The ideal candidate will be an independent thinker who can provide creative solutions to complex issues and who can manage many diverse projects.
Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret level security clearance.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Communications, or related field of study, or a combination of education and relevant work experience
