Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solo Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating tractor-trailers. As a Solo Driver, you will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and majority of the time will be no-touch freight. .
Responsibilities
Operate a dry van truck for the transportation of goods.
Ensure the safe loading and unloading of freight at designated locations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and cargo information (ELD Compliant).
Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
Manage freight securely to prevent damage during transit.
Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and operational procedures.
Responsible for uploading all BOL and POD within adequate time.
Over the road through 48 states
Experience
Minimum 5 years proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
Experience with load unloading procedures is preferred.
Ability to navigate using GPS systems and maps effectively.
Strong understanding of freight handling processes and safety regulations.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Must know how to read, write, and speak in English.
Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
