Entry Level Toyota Technician – UTI / T-TEN Graduates – 33 per hour plus Snap on Tools – Toyota of Berkeley

Toyota of Berkeley is recruiting UTI + T-TEN graduates ready to jump into a high-volume Toyota dealership. We value the training you’ve completed and built this role to give you the tools, environment, and support to launch strong.

If you’ve just completed UTI’s T-TEN program (or will soon), this position offers a direct transition into a full-time Toyota dealership with clear advancement paths.

Career Path and Pay Progression

UTI T-TEN graduates enter our shop at the Expert Technician level and can progress through top Toyota certification tiers as you build experience and complete required training.

• Expert Technician 33 to 40 per hour — core maintenance, repair, and foundational diagnostics
• Master Technician 40 to 48 per hour — hybrid systems, drivability, and advanced mechanical/electrical work
• Master Diagnostic Technician 50 to 55 per hour — full diagnostic authority and top tier pay for factory-certified technicians

Requirements

• Completion of UTI’s T-TEN program (or equivalent Toyota-certified school)
• Valid driver license with clean record
• Reliable, teachable, and prepared for a fast-paced shop environment
