I'm looking for a local video shooter who's passionate about camera work to help me out with my corporate video gigs here in the Temecula area. My name is David and I've only been running my video business for a little over two years but things have been picking up WAY faster than I expected.
I feel like things are getting to a point where I can't handle all the projects on my own, and I'm realizing I LOVE the business and sales side of things. I also love building relationships with my clients (you know, the stuff that goes on before, during, and after the actual 'shoot dates') more than the actual shooting.
What would be really cool for me is finding someone who loves the creative and technical side of shooting and someone who knows how to get clean audio on set. I also love having movement in my projects and shoot a lot on a slider or gimbal, so if you're familiar that's rad. If you've never used a slider but are comfortable shooting, I own one and it's super quick to learn. I'm more than happy to help you out.
Here's what's important to me - if this is you, let's chat:
Like I said, I'm a bit newer to the business side of this, so I'm not sure I'm ready to bring you on as a Full-time shooter just yet, but if we keep going at this rate, it could become a full-time thing.
I need someone who's friendly, with good people skills, and who isn't a total introvert when it comes to talking to clients and making them feel relaxed. You don't have to be super outgoing either, but I always try to make it a fun time on set.
This is NOT for you if you take life way too serious, but just know when we're on set we get shit done. If you're lazy or unreliable with a schedule, this ain't gonna work.
If you're reading this ad and you like working with people who think BIG and wanna work with the most kick-ass video company in the making here in Temecula, send me the following in an e-mail:
1. Send me a demo reel or the video you're the most proud of.
2. Answer the following question, "What's one of your favorite memories in the last 12 months and why?"
3. Send me a list of the gear you have and work with.
