Angular 2+ Programmer

Position Summary
IE United, a project of The Advocacy Fund, is a collaborative of community-based organizations and leaders based in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. We envision a region of civically engaged residents dedicated to building political power and leading the creation of diverse, healthy, safe, and thriving communities. We do this by engaging under-represented and long-ignored communities as voters, vocal stakeholders, and leaders in order to build political power needed to revitalize the Inland Region.

IE United is seeking a highly motivated Angular 2+ Programmer. The Angular Programmer will work closely with the IE United Director to consulat, code, and support the development of a web application for civic engagement.

• Extensive knowledge of existing voter contact/ membership management/ contact management software
• Demonstrated commitment to racial and economic justice
• Strong writing abilities and self accountability
• Excellent personal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
• Proficiency in Angular 2+
• Proficiency in Javascript and/or Typescript
• Experience with Nodejs
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL infrastructures
• Experience with Python is a plus
• Experience working in a Linux based Operating System
• Experience developing REST APIs
• Experience with Application Containerization in Production Environments (DOCKER)
• Understanding of Functional Programming
• Understanding of Object Oriented Design Principles
• Experience with GIT or other Source Control Systems

• Consulting IE United on web application development
• Direct coding of web application
• Code Review participation
• Code debugging
