Lead Generation Specialist (Corona)

compensation: $18 per hour
employment type: full-time

Summary:

Must be self-motivated and responsible for identifying and qualifying leads for the Sales Department and providing sales support functions required to satisfactorily support a growing manufacturing company.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Query and monitor multiple project lead databases and prequalify potential business opportunities
Telephone prospective contractors, engineers or distributors to identify decision makers and purchase decision drivers
Contact design engineering companies and assist in getting products specified
Verify and consolidate project scope in preparation for hand-off to sales
Track leads within the organization and determine success ratio
Support the sales team as needed issuing quotes and following up on opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS:

College degree or 2+ years of applicable experience; technical degree is a plus
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong technical aptitude and ability to communicate technical concepts
Good organization skills and ability to stay on top of multiple projects and leads
Self-starter, highly motivated individual that can effectively work under pressure with little supervision
Experience in reading electrical drawings and projects specifications documents
Must possess superb phone skills and willingness to make cold calls
Strong computer skills, experience working with Word, Excel, and Outlook required; experience with Goldmine CRM, MAS 200, and ConstructConnect Insight is a plus
Experience with construction bid & lead databases a plus
Industry experience with Power Distribution equipment a plus
Bilingual and biliterate in Spanish is a plus
