My name is Rico and I am a undergraduate UCLA student who is double majoring in math and physics. I am spending this summer somewhere nearby and I am offering tutoring service to most of the courses and preparation of tests.
For math courses, I am open to tutor almost all of the courses below the level of differential equation and linear algebra. That being said, it doesn't mean I can not offer help to upper division courses at all. I have taken 5 different upper division math courses and if you let me prepare a bit before hand I can definitely help with upper division math as well (list of upper division math courses taken will be given upon request via email/text)
For physics courses, I have lab experience and is open to tutor courses under mathematical physics and analytical mechanics. (e.g. the typical newtonian physics and electromagnetism are included)
As for SAT preparation, I scored 750/800 for my new SAT math section. Thus I am sure an expert at doing SAT math problems.
Experience: Currently, I am tutoring four other families with: Preview of 8th grade math, SAT math preparation, Preview of Geometry, Algebra II, and Tutoring college level newtonian physics.
For a bit of my personal background, during high school, I was dual enrolled in an community college at Moreno Valley and was able to take college courses beforehand. I maintained a 4.0 GPA, complete up to Differential Equation, and admitted to UCLA by the time I graduate from high school.
Outside of my academic life, I am also a competitive chess player and have won the first place of American Open Tournament at my respective group. If you are hoping to expand the hobbies of your child, I am open to teach them chess theories as well.
My current availability is Monday Wednesday and Friday. I am open to online tutoring and please discuss further details with me via email/text.
