I received 4-6 cases a week that have medical records from 500 pages to 3000 pages. I summarized all records and examined important information that may be detrimental to the case. I received assignment sheets with deadlines and met them weekly. I also subpoenaed records and logged them in each case file when received. Subpoenaed records should be submitted within 3 days and Followed up in 30 in which I consistently accomplished along with reviewing records and finding new facilities to subpoena. My position was very important to find information that leads to less payouts for the company and finding fraudulent injury claims. Most of the medical records were chiropractic, Kaiser, orthopedic, family practice and many MRI, CT scans, blood test results, X-ray and ultrasound findings.

My position as an Office Manager and Biller was billing for two locations. My duties consisted of assuring all patients insurance was verified and billed to their insurance company at the time of service. I made sure our patient monthly count was always met and performed excellent customer service to reach these goals. I prepared monthly statements to send patients who had a balance on their account. I issued the Doctors a monthly report of all insurance payments, over the counter, patient count, personal injury settlements, average per patient, workers comp payments and year to date profit and loss. I would also handle the submission of the medical records, PR-2 reports, narratives for personal injury cases, patient visit authorization forms and settlement offers. I managed all employees schedules, time cards, their productivity, distributed their paychecks, interviewed and hired all employees. I also assisted the Doctors in making sure all patients were seen in a time managing order to assure the office was running consistent by scheduling patients accordingly. I performed custodial duties at the end of each day by mopping, vacuuming, replenishment of the restroom toiletries and cleaned and dusted the whole used a Billing system called Lytec to input all patient information and sent all files through a clearinghouse company called office ally. I corrected any and all denials on a daily basis. I also billed insurance claims directly through a ryder insurance company called American Specialty Health on their site Ashlink. During the patient's visit, I would put them on therapy which consisted of putting patients on mechanical traction, tens unit, ultrasound and heat. All duties were performed and accomplished on a daily basis.









Assistant Manager- 9/2008 to 4/2010

As an Assistant Manager my daily duties were to manage 12-23 employees and assure they were productive, performing excellent customer service, stocking all departments by corporate standards, disposing of hazardous and dangerous materials properly, checking out customers on the register in a timely manner and assuring employees work ethic and attendance were at a reliable and responsible level. I made sure all monthly goals of our stores sales were met by conducting bump up the basket meetings and that it was enforced with all employees. I arranged monthly management meetings to assure sales and payroll were always being maintained. I would handle the daily accounting, opening and closing procedures, schematic changes, weekly ad merchandise, deliveries, invoices, stockroom safety and how it should be organized and categorized for efficiency. I strived to make sure we were the top store out of our district and region and assure all customers were 100% satisfied.

My duties as a Case Manager were to assure all patients files and medical records were fully completed and correct. I assisted Dr. Prather in collecting patient's diet journal information and making sure patients were following their diets accordingly. I was also in charge of proofreading all narrative reports and collecting patient's injury complaints. Although I was filling in for another employee I was glad to have had this experience to prepare for my future employment.
