Hi! I’m a 21 year old woman looking to start a career in carpentry. I’m highly motivated to learn and gain hands on experience in all areas of the trade. I’m new to construction, but I’m reliable, hardworking, and ready to show up and put in the effort.
I’m interested in beginner level carpentry work or an apprenticeship where I can learn skills such as:
• Measuring, cutting, and handling lumber
• Using hand tools and basic power tools safely
• Framing (walls, floors, roofs)
• Installing trim, doors, and hardware
• Reading and following basic plans or instructions
• Jobsite cleanup, material handling, and setup
• Learning proper safety procedures and tool care
I already have essential PPE and gear: hard hat, work boots, safety glasses, reflective vest, and lunch box. I’ll need new gloves soon (mine run a bit large), but otherwise I’m ready to go.
I have a reliable car and can work locally in Barstow, CA and nearby areas. I’m available immediately and would appreciate consistent work if possible.
