Overview
We are a Construction company located in Azusa, CA offering an excellent opportunity for an individual with at least 8 years of Office / Construction experience to join our Human Resources department. This individual must also be well versed with ADP. Having Labor Compliance, Human Resources, and Payroll experience is a huge plus. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication skills, computer savvy, follow-up skills, and be willing to learn new duties in order to support various administrative functions.
Responsibilities
-Good communicator, follow up, verbal and written
-Clerical - filing, scanning, answering phones
-Excel / Microsoft office
-Typing average to above average speed
-Reporting to various systems for workers comp, 401k,
-Adobe
-Perform data entry, filing, and document proofreading to ensure accuracy and organization
-Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace for report creation, correspondence, and scheduling
-Support bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar accounting software as needed
-Handle administrative tasks such as copying, scanning, and organizing documents
-Support personal assistant duties or responsibilities if needed
-Maintain professionalism with co-workers and customers
Skills
-Proficient in ADP
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
-Strong computer literacy and familiarity with office management software such as QuickBooks
-Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
-Bilingual abilities are a plus to assist diverse client needs
-8 years of office / construction experience required
-Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette
-Strong typing skills with attention to detail for data entry and proofreading tasks
-Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
-Good time management skills to meet deadlines consistently
