We are currently looking for a qualified, full-time, Clinical Coordinator to join our Residential Team. The Clinical Coordinator shall be responsible for the overall quality of the Treatment Programs and have overall responsibility for, and be involved in, the intake, discharge and on-going treatment of the children and their families. Other duties include but are not limited to: Oversee the caseloads of the Therapists and ensure that the clinical treatment interventions are appropriate and adequate. Review all quarterly reports, needs and service plans, to ensure quality and timeliness. Review children’s records, monitor and evaluate assessment and treatment decisions of the Associate Therapists. Provide emergency counseling supervision to Associate Therapists during crisis situations. Coordinate the Specialized Therapy groups, facilitate as required, and assure the timely and consistent documentation of the groups. Monitor independent contractors providing psychiatric, therapy, or other services to ensure compliance with the contract terms; approve contractor invoices.
Skills/Requirements: A minimum of a Master’s degree in Counseling or closely related field. Clinical License (MFCC or LCSW) required; with sufficient experience and credentials to provide the state required clinical hours of supervision to Associate Therapists. Must have experience with Department of Mental Health (DMH) reports and treatment, and working in a facility/program similar to Trinity as a Therapist and in a supervisory role. Must be well organized and able to assume a position of strong leadership with the clinical team. Must have a special interest in working with youth and must fulfill the general requirements as established in the California Code of Regulations, Title 22. Writing and verbal skills and the ability to compose quality reports and other necessary correspondence is essential. Be able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing English. Must be at least 21 years of age or older, able to pass a physical examination; drug clearance; criminal background check; Child Abuse Index check. Must hold a valid California driver’s license with clean DMV history, be able to safely operate a motor vehicle and be insurable by Trinity’s insurance carrier. Bilingual is a plus. Starting salary is dependent on education and experience.
