We are seeking a General Production Worker / Machine Operator to support manufacturing operations in the Manufacturing industry. This role prepares metal filtration components for paint, powder coating, or shipment, while operating cutting and fabrication machinery for carbon and stainless steel products used in filtration systems.
Key Responsibilities-
Prepare manufactured metal products for paint, powder coating, and shipment
Operate production equipment including band saws, plasma pipe cutters, and iron workers
Use hand and power tools such as grinders, hammers, wrenches, plate rolls, and punch presses
Perform grinding, deburring, pressure testing, and finishing preparation
Read and interpret production drawings and blueprints
Operate sit-down forklift to relocate, stage, and store finished products
Track materials using RF scanners
Replace machine consumables (band saw blades, plasma components, filters)
Support production areas including prep, pouring, parts grinding, cartridge assembly, paint, and shipping/receiving
Complete simple production reports and follow safety procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications-
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years manufacturing or production experience
2+ years experience using hand and power tools
2+ years forklift experience (certified preferred)
Ability to read and interpret production drawings
Strong mechanical aptitude
Team player with a desire to grow within the organization
Ability to speak, read, and write English
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Physical Requirements-
Frequent bending, stooping, lifting, and repetitive use of hands
Lift 20 lbs unassisted
Lift 50–100 lbs with assistance
