The position is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing VVTA’s outreach, industry relations, social media, and community event activities. Will often act as the agency’s Public Information Officer. The candidate must keep informed regarding all agency happenings including all newsworthy events and activities. This position’s activities shall enhance the agency’s image among the general public and key market segments with the tangential goal to increase ridership and support for agency services. Excellent skill in composing new releases and feature writing. Additionally, knowledge of and proficiency in photography, artistic design, social media, web design/ management, and related activities as required.
