eCintel is seeking a dependable, motivated part-time team member to support outside sales activities, help
maintain the company backyard area, and actively sell overstock merchandise. The ideal candidate is
organized, comfortable speaking with customers, willing to perform light outdoor work, and able to take
ownership of the sales process from listing and outreach through payment and pickup coordination.
Key Responsibilities
9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. | Outside Sales Support and Backyard Maintenance
• Assist the returns sales team with daily administrative, product, and customer follow-up tasks.
• Help organize, stage, photograph, move, and prepare products for sales activities.
• Maintain the backyard area so it remains clean, organized, presentable, and safe.
• Perform light outdoor upkeep, including sweeping, organizing merchandise, removing debris, and
arranging products or materials.
• Notify management of damaged products, safety concerns, or maintenance needs.
11am-1pm | Overstock Sales
• Actively market and sell overstock items, including office chairs, desks, fire pits, and other available
merchandise.
• Respond promptly and professionally to prospective buyers by phone, email, text, or online
marketplace messaging.
• Follow up with leads, answer product questions, negotiate within approved pricing guidelines, and
close sales.
• Coordinate customer payment, pickup, and delivery details with the appropriate eCintel team
members.
• Maintain an accurate record of leads, listings, sold items, sale amounts, and commission-eligible
transactions.
• Look for additional sales channels and practical ways to improve inventory turnover.
Qualifications
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently during dedicated sales time.
• Basic computer and smartphone skills, including email, online marketplaces, photos, and
spreadsheets.
• Organized, reliable, punctual, and able to follow through on assigned tasks.
• Comfortable performing light physical work outdoors and moving or arranging merchandise safely.
• Previous sales, retail, customer service, marketplace, or warehouse experience is preferred but not
required.
eCintel | Part-Time Sales & Yard Assistant
Compensation
• $20.00 per hour for all scheduled work hours.
• 10% commission on all sales personally generated by the employee, subject to company sales-
tracking and payment-confirmation procedures.
Performance Expectations
• Maintain consistent attendance and arrive ready to work at 9:00 a.m.
• Keep the backyard and assigned work areas orderly and customer-ready.
• Use the dedicated sales period productively and maintain timely follow-up with prospective buyers.
• Represent eCintel professionally and accurately in all customer communications.
• Provide regular updates on leads, listings, completed sales, and any obstacles requiring management
support.
