Laborer – Septic & Sewer Installation (Manual Labor) Pay DOE starts at $23/hour
Are you someone who isn’t afraid of hard work and getting your hands dirty? We’re a well-established plumbing company specializing in septic and sewer system installations, and we’re looking for a reliable, LABORER to join our field crew. This position consists primarily of manual labor, digging, and working around septic tanks and sewer lines.***
This is a physically demanding role and best suited for someone who is comfortable working outdoors in all conditions and can handle strenuous work.
Labor Duties:
-Perform manual digging and trenching for septic and sewer system installations
-Assist with site preparation, backfilling, and cleanup
-Work around septic tanks, sewer lines, and underground utilities
-Assist operators and crew members during installations
-Handle tools, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently
-Follow all safety procedures and job site protocols
-Strictly follow all job site safety procedures
Safety Is a Must
This position requires constant awareness and adherence to safety protocols. You will be working in close proximity to heavy equipment, including:
-Backhoes
-Bobcats / skid steers
-Dump trucks
Applicants must be safety-conscious, alert, and able to follow directions at all times to maintain a safe work environment for themselves and the crew
Qualifications:
-Prior construction, plumbing, or utility experience is a plus, but not required
-Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods
-Comfortable working around septic systems and sewer lines
-Willingness to learn and take direction
