The next Menifee Veteran Meeting will be held on 23 April 2019. The 54th meeting was conducted on 16 April and it was great. I just returned from helping veterans in Arizona and I also visited the Bullhead City Veterans Memorial which is a beautiful Memorial located on the Colorado River in Bullhead City, thanks to all of the veterans and their families for the great hospitality. The first 54 meetings were great and we look forward to seeing more veterans. Come join us for a casual time with other veterans. There is no agenda and no dues, just a chance to talk with other veterans, WE ALSO DO NOT ALLOW ANYONE TO ASK FOR REFERRALS FOR ANY NON-VETERAN COMMERCIAL VENTURE, WE LIKE IT LIKE THAT. All veterans are welcome.
We had a small turnout at the last meeting because people were traveling and some have had to change their schedules, but we will continue on as a venue for any veterans who would like to attend, thanks to all who attended. Veteran Jim brought in a letter from the VA Appeals Board at the last meeting that told him that they are reviewing the recent decision about adding "The Blue Water Navy" to those who can be included as exposed to Agent Orange, therefore, his claim is on hold until they review the decision.
I attended the Menifee Veteran Resource meeting on 11 March and there was a lot of good information disseminated about a number of subjects including the upcoming Memorial Day events presented by the City of Menifee. If you have any input for the committee, please contact Jason Hendrix at the City of Menifee.
My best to all veterans, we hope to see you at the next meeting, but if you can't make the next one, stop on by another Tuesday for a chance to talk to other veterans. Thanks to those veterans who have called for info, hope to see you at the next meeting.
