Focus Interpreting is a language interpreting and translation provider for courts, state departments and clinics in California. We are a veteran and minority owned small business looking for a new team member who can bring value to our growing company and enjoy working with our office. We will train for this position what we are looking for is someone who is excited and energetic with passion and common sense.

Partial list of Administrative Tasks
• Managing, scheduling and confirming Interpreters for their appointments
• Managing translators for document translations in over 90 different languages
• Proofreading or assigning proofreaders for document translations
• Following up on interpreters and translators invoices and payments
• Informing our billing department of all translation and interpreting assignments
. Learning new software platforms for both document translation and voice interpreting
. Opportunity to learn how to bid on government contracts for services

Requirements:
• Very organized
• Detail-oriented
• Professional
• Discreet with client info
• Willing to have credit and or background check
• Reliable
• Must be able to take initiative
• OK with doing a wide range of things from mundane (scheduling) to more strategic (be proactive with making suggestions)

• Software proficient—ability to use a wide variety of software MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel. Also to learn InDesign, Photoshop, Quick Books and other programs.

Compensation: $17 per hour
