The wood is a nice birch or maple color as you can see from the pictures, it can also be painted or repainted white or any other foam marble finish you prefer.
I also have the Faux brick fireplace panel shown in picture which nicely fills the interior space available as well for an additional $15. It is currently a regular red brick color, but it can also be painted to match any interior.
