I am a bookkeeper who works for a construction company. I have been with the company for 5 years, and looking to offer my services on the side to bring in some extra income for my family.
On a daily basis, I receive and approve invoices from our sub-contractors and vendors and make sure they get paid in a timely manner. I balance 3 different accounts, check the online banking, organize receipts.
I process payroll for 10 different employees, and once a month I reconcile the bank statements and enter the credit card receipts.
I am able to manage different business accounts all on my QuickBooks that I have in my home office. I would prefer working from my home office. In order to keep your books updated and organized, I would need all the necessary documents to do so (Bank statements, credit card statements, credit card/cash receipts, invoices/bills paid, deposit receipts), which can be dropped off, picked up, or sent through mail, whichever you prefer. But if it works better for you, I can come to your home or office for a few hours.
If you are interested in me doing payroll as well, I would need copies of W4's of all employees to make sure their tax deductions are done correctly. Whether they are paid weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, all you would need to do is e-mail me their hours and I will make sure everyone gets paid on time! When doing payroll through QuickBooks, all taxes are automatically taken out a sent directly to EDD, and it also offers direct deposit.
A little bit about me:
I am a 30-year-old female residing in Rancho Cucamonga. I am married to my best friend whom I have a one-year-old son with. My husband is a HVAC contractor so I manage his books as well :) I was in school for 8 years to be a court reporter, and unfortunately my heart wasn't in it anymore. I'm a numbers gal!
