Job Summary
Looking for a dependable, hardworking, and motivated individual to join our team as a Barback / Beginner Cook. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in both the bar and kitchen while learning the hospitality industry from the ground up.
Responsibilities
Barback Duties
Keep the bar fully stocked with beer, liquor, mixers, ice, and supplies.
Wash glassware and maintain a clean, organized bar area.
Remove empty bottles, trash, and recyclables.
Assist bartenders during busy shifts.
Help maintain cleanliness throughout the bar and dining areas.
Cook Duties
Prepare simple menu items according to recipes and food safety standards.
Assist with food preparation and stocking.
Keep the kitchen clean and organized.
Wash dishes and kitchen equipment as needed.
Follow all health and sanitation guidelines.
Qualifications
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Previous restaurant or bar experience is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right person.
Friendly, team-oriented work environment.
