These speakers are designed to be connected with many other pairs over long distances using a power amp that has the 70.7 Volt and 100Volt distribution systems….like in a huge warehouse or office building. IMPORTANT TO KNOW. The Transformer on these speakers has been bi-passed so they will now work with a home or stereo 8 Ohm stereo receiver. If you buy others online that have not been updated, they will sound terrible and no volume. We have done the quick change for you. The transformer shunts the volume. Be careful what you buy. These are Contractor speakers, but sound amazingly clear now for your patio or garage set up. Now they work with a standard stereo amp.
