# Handyman Position Available - Part- Time in Riverside, CA.
We are a small, family-owned property management company based in Riverside, CA, specializing in maintaining residential properties across the Inland Empire. We're seeking a dedicated, part-time handyman on call and help keep our properties in top condition. # Job Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of general handyman tasks, including basic plumbing (e.g., fixing leaks, unclogging drains, installing fixtures), electrical repairs (e.g., replacing outlets, switches, and light fixtures), painting, drywall patching, and carpentry (e.g., building shelves, repairing doors and windows).
- Conduct routine property inspections, identify maintenance issues, and complete repairs promptly to ensure tenant satisfaction and property value.
- Manage several different properties, including scheduling and prioritizing work orders, coordinating with tenants or vendors as needed, and maintaining accurate records of completed tasks.
- Handle minor landscaping and exterior maintenance, such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and pressure washing.
- Assist with technology-related tasks, like using smartphones or tablets for work apps, connecting security cameras, sending photos/videos of job progress, and basic troubleshooting of smart home devices (e.g., Wi-Fi thermostats or locks).
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls outside regular hours when necessary.
# Requirements:
- Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar maintenance role (at least 2-3 years preferred), with a broad skill set in repairs and renovations. Do monthly, quarterly and annually maintenance reports. Take photos and videos to show job done. Be on call!
- Must be hardworking, reliable, and punctual, with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Own a reliable vehicle for traveling between job sites.
- Basic knowledge of tools and safety protocols; must supply your own basic hand tools (specialty tools provided by the company).
- Comfortable with light physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Familiarity with technology: proficient in using smartphones for communication and basic digital tasks like emailing reports or uploading media.
- Clean background: No drugs or alcohol allowed.
- Have a Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a small team, with good communication skills for interacting with tenants and reporting to management.
# What We Offer:
- Hourly rate: $25/hour get paid only when the entire job is done!
- Must work with very little supervision needed and must finish every project in a timely manner before getting paid.
