Selling my '78 Bus. I rescued this 6 years ago after it had been sitting since 1992 (tabs were still on it). It wasn't running then, but I’ve gone through every system to make it a reliable, turn-key driver. It’s been great for camping trips, but I’m parting with it because I am moving and won't have space for it.

Engine: 2.0L Fuel Injected (Bosch L-Jetronic) with an upgraded Electronic Ignition.
Many New Parts: Fuel pump, brakes, rear axle, and CV joints, steering linkages, New windshield plus brand new window rubbers and seals all the way around.High-output LED headlights with integrated Daytime Running Lights (DRL) and full LED bulb conversion (signals/brakes/markers). Radio with Bluetooth connectivity.

Paint/Rust: Recently painted with zero rust. The body is solid and intact.

Odometer shows 59k and is what I believe to be original miles, but I can't be 100% certain.

Salvage Title - I don’t know the specific reason from its distant past, but back in the day, these vans weren't very expensive, and it didn't take much for an insurance company to salvage them. For context, I bought a nice, running one back in 1991 for just $1,200. The body on this one is incredibly solid and intact, so probably a minor accident.

This is a head-turning icon that is ready to drive home today. It needs nothing and is a blast to drive.

Asking $15,900. I am looking for a good home for this bus. I will consider reasonable offers, but only those made in person. Come take a look, fall in love, and drive it home.
