Selling my '78 Bus. I rescued this 6 years ago after it had been sitting since 1992 (tabs were still on it). It wasn't running then, but I’ve gone through every system to make it a reliable, turn-key driver. It’s been great for camping trips, but I’m parting with it to make room for my next project.

The Mechanicals (Starts Every Time):
Engine: 2.0L Fuel Injected (Bosch L-Jetronic) with an upgraded Electronic Ignition.
New Parts: Fuel pump, full brakes, rear axle, and CV joints.
Handling: New steering linkages (drives tight) and a fresh oil change.
Modern Utilities: Upgraded electrical windshield wiper fluid pump.

Body & Exterior:
Paint/Rust: Recently painted with zero rust. The body is solid and intact.
Glass/Seals: New windshield plus brand new window rubbers and seals all the way around.
Lighting: High-output LED headlights with integrated Daytime Running Lights (DRL) and full LED bulb conversion (signals/brakes/markers).
Extra: Period-correct luggage rack.

Interior & Safety:
Safety Upgrade: New retractable 3-point front seat belts.
Audio: Radio with Bluetooth connectivity.
Mileage: Odometer shows 59k and is what I believe to be original miles, but I can't be 100% certain.

This is a head-turning icon that is ready to drive home today. It needs nothing and is a blast to drive.

Asking $15,900. I am looking for a good home for this bus. I will consider reasonable offers, but only those made in person. Come take a look, fall in love, and drive it home.
