Standard depression care leaves long gaps between check-ins, so early signs that a treatment is or isn't working often get missed. Our Stanford-based research team is studying how health and wellbeing change over time among people working through depression, to learn whether treatment response can be tracked in a more robust way. Everything is done by remote video call, making it easy to take part from anywhere in the Inland Empire -- Riverside, San Bernardino, and surrounding areas. Twice a week you'll have a brief, informal check-in with a trained team member across the 12-week study--not therapy, just a discussion about how things are going.
What will you do? Participation is fully remote -- no clinic visits, no changes to your current treatment. Twice a week, you'll have a brief 20-minute video check-in with a trained care manager from our team, just to talk about how you're doing. At four points during the study, a separate clinician will do a short structured assessment. The study runs for 12 weeks total.
Compensation: Participants can earn up to $350 over the course of the study, paid out in milestones: $100 by week 4, $175 by week 8, and $350 by week 12 (includes an engagement bonus for consistent participation).
You may be eligible if you:
