This is a stunning, old-world Middle Eastern brass samovar with decorative carved handles and detailed body. The engraved inscription is in Persian (Farsi) script, typical of samovars made in Isfahan, Shiraz, or Tehran in the early 1900s.
Samovars like this were traditionally used for making tea in Persian tea houses (“Chaikhaneh”).
It has a classic bulbous form, ornate brasswork, and a great patina from age.
