The Montecristo Cigare des Artes blend was introduced in 1998 by Consolidated Cigar
as a richer and fuller bodied option to their existing Montecristo line. The entire range consists
of only four large cigars each with limited availability. They incorporated the Parisian impressionist
style of artwork by Michael Delacroix as part of their distinct packaging.
Acclaimed French artist Michel Delacroix was specially commissioned by Montecristo to create the box
art for the series. These sets were only available from 1998 - 2000 and were a limited series. This is a
complete original set and has been stored in a professional humidor to age to perfection.
French Artist: Michel Delacroix studied at the Lycee Louis-le-Grand. He has had numerous one man shows
as well as group exhibitions all over Europe. Michel Delacroix’s primitive style in his paintings and graphics
combine structure and detail with rich color to convey the bustling, diverse activity of the street of Paris,
his native city. It is no wonder that Michel Delacroix is recognized as one of the important primitive artists of our time.

Pro cigars also state the following: Montecristo Le Cigare des Arts Belicoso Larga: The Figurado received
86 POINTS from Cigar Aficionado. It is 7″ long and has a 52 ring. This big pyramid is quite well made,
but the burn is a little hot. The Belicoso Larga begins sour but recovers with black pepper, spice and leather
notes developing. Although the Belicoso Larga Figurado beginning leaves room for improvement it ends
well with a touch of spice.
