I bought this Loden jacket in Italy in the 1960's. It is pure wool with a classic German style. I bought it for my husband (back when he was a smaller size), and since it is a small size, it actually fits me too!! It is 27" from the top of the collar to the bottom hem, 18" across the shoulders, and the arm length is 22 1/2". It does have some small moth eaten places, here and there, but the lining is spotless and clean, and there aren't any holes as such, just places where the top layer has some small worn places.
The jacket is in great condition except for the places that moths have gotten into. There are many places where there are indentations from moths, although not big holes you can see them if you are close. There are many pits where they have damaged the wool. The lining is pristine. The color did not show up well in the pictures, but it is dark green, and is not faded or discolored at all." Because of the moth damage, it would not be good to wear out, but as a costume or warm coat if you didn't care about the damage.
