This position is an hourly position. In this position, the candidate will manage and communicate customer vendor compliance information & coordinate warehouse activities related to chargeback prevention, recovery and resolution. Work hours will be Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30 PM. Overtime will be required as needed as will weekends. This position will pay $17 /hour with opportunity to become permanent! The position will report to Office Manager.
Manage customer vendor compliance information (compliance manuals & routing guides)
Update Compliance Repository with any changes or new customer compliance / routing requirements related to warehouse activities (e.g., labeling, EDI, packing, routing) (when becomes operational)
Communicate changes or new requirements to Company personnel and work with them to understand any areas of non-compliance
In areas where Company is unable to comply with customer requirements, work with internal Company personnel to understand ability to comply in the future and then work with Sales Directors to develop strategy to negotiate with customer
Research customer chargebacks related to warehouse activities and own disposition. Where possible, provide supporting documentation to aid in recovery / resolution
Act as Project Manager and work with various Company and 3PL warehouses to develop corrective action plans for valid compliance-related chargebacks which can be prevented.
Perform periodic audits of outbound shipments to ensure compliance with routing and compliance requirements
Analyze WH related chargebacks on a regular basis and prepare monthly/quarterly presentation of performance to management
Review chargeback performance with warehouse management team on a routine basis
Monitor and audit warehouse processes
AA degree preferred (will consider work history in lieu of educational requirement)
1+ years of supply chain / distribution experience in similar retailer-driven environment
1 years+ experience with compliance requirements and chargeback management
Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Self-motivated, creative problem solver with proven track record of past improvements and accomplishments
Strong follow-up skills. Able to solve problems by gathering information and evaluating options.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, great interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills, hands-on approach and strong attention to detail with ability to understand larger business implications.
Team player, able to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment and meet changing business priorities.
Competent in Microsoft Office suite
Previous experience with WMS highly desirable
