Old Town Canoe Saranac 146 Canoe, Green in color.
Perfect for either a quiet fishing trip or fun with the family, the Old Town Canoe ® Saranac 146 Canoe has lots of great features and extras to make your canoe ride more enjoyable. Due to the modified shape and slightly lowered seats, this model paddles better than the average canoe. It features 2 contoured seats, a center bench with storage compartment, plus cup holders, rod holders, and storage trays.

Dimensions: 14’6’’ x 36’’’ x 18’’
Depth: 13.25’’
Weight: 79 lbs
Capacity: 700 – 750 lbs
Thermoformed polyethylene materials
Molded-in flush mount for rod holder
Contoured seats feature folding backrests
Cup holders and molded-in storage trays
Center bench seat with storage
Seat mounted dry hatch
Paddle rests
Flat hull bottom
Straight sides
Carry handles

In addition to all the above, I made this Canoe even way better. In a matter of minutes, you can go from the stock seats to highback captain swivel chairs for fishing, and a motor instead of pedals if you wish, or do both configurations, options plenty.

Added in Electic trolling motor 46 lbs, deep cycle battery, with box and 7 stage battery charger, quick disconnects.
Speed up to 5mph+ and approx 10hrs + off run time on battery.

Fishfinder and rod support, safety whistle, highback boat seats with removable swivel brackets and set of paddles.

And for safety, so you never capsize the canoe, I added spring creek brand fully adjustable canoe stabilizers.

And to transport the canoe I purchased a "dogbone" carrier which fits in standard hitch receiver and tie-down straps and fully wired for all functions with plug.

All the components are easy to install and require no tools, just turn the knobs.

All the above items added roughly $1300 to the initial purchase price.

The Canoe has been on the lake twice, minor scuff on the bottom of the canoe from the sandy beach, otherwise in near new excellent condition.

Reason for selling is that I do not have the truck anymore, and running out of space.

I transported this with the "dogbone carrier" attached to on my shortbed Toyota Tundra, no issue and did it myself(79lbs).
