This bike started life as a Dahon Formula S18 (18 speeds) and could now be called an S20, since it has 20 speeds.
Virtually everything has been upgraded. There is hardly an original component left on the bike.
It is essentially unridden, maybe 10 miles tops. It's a total garage/wall queen. There was a time when I was building and selling a lot of folding bikes and I have held on to this one for sentimental reasons. Since it has just been sitting in its case unused, maybe it's time to move it along.

Dahon Airporter suitcase. Never traveled. Only served as a nest for the bike.
Items of note:
The front chainrings are rather large, 61/50 to make the gear ratio more like a full size road bike.
The original telescoping handlepost was replaced with a shorter (320mm) and more rigid non-telescoping handlepost to make the bike stiffer and feel more like a full size road bike.
There are ample frame protectors all over the bike to protect from impact/friction when folding.
