What are thse paintngs attachd to aluminum sheets called? Who to go to 1

I have seen both paintings and photogras. large about 30" x 40" it appears the picture is sunk down into an aluminum tray with 3/8" walla round edge and then clear plastic poured in liquid form over the image so the imge is sunk under plastic but look good. Anybody recommend a shop thart makes those (might be called diffusion) in thr IE? Thanks for any advice
