This is a Vintage 50s MCM All Original Lamp with Lampshade. The Zebra is the base of the lamp that includes the head and neck of the zebra. The zebra base is plaster and is painted a off white with the the gold stripes painted on top. The features are detailed with gold rope attached to the mouth nose area. There is a design on the back that recreating the tuft of hair on a zebra. The base is wood, in a circular disc shape. The toggle on /off switch is attached to the base. The Lampshade is in pristine condition. A gold rope is attached to the entire edges of the shade, and there is a circular rope design in the center of the lamp shade. The lamp has twin sockets for two light bulbs. All in working order no issues. This is extremely rare lamp. One like it is about impossible to find. Can prove age,1957 through a dated photograph. There is a carved signature but I cannot make it out. Measures 38 in tall, 15 in in length and 24 in wide.
