I hope that you, or someone you know, might want to own this 2.50-acre (108,900 square feet) land parcel, which is being sold by The Michael Jay 1994 Trust, a part of my retirement plan. This is nice, usable acreage east of Landers Lane and north of Reche Road. The property is adjacent to the south of the house at 58637 Mitch Lane.

Landers is already a fairly rural community characterized by larger land parcels and lots of open space. This property is in a part of Landers that provides both open space and a secluded location, as Josiah Road is traveled only by a few neighbors who live there. This property has 330 feet of frontage on Josiah Road, and is 330 feet deep. TWO regulation football fields worth of property, which will provide enough room for whatever you want to do on your land. (Goal posts and yard markers are not included, although I suppose you could use the utility poles on the west property line as goal posts if you wanted to.) The County water district account number is "50-1026-4".

Get there by starting at the Landers Post Office at the corner of Reche Road and Landers Lane. Head east on Reche Road three blocks, about 0.4 mile, to Becker Ave. Continue east on Reche another half a mile to Sunset Mesa and turn left (north). Go north about 0.8 miles, past Stearman Road and past Shayne Lane, to Josiah Road and turn left (west). After about 0.1 mile you will see, on your left, the house at 58771 Josiah Road. Continue west on Josiah 0.2 miles more and stop, your 2.5 acres are on the right (north) side of the street. Two faint dirt trails, about 330 feet (132 steps) apart, running north-south, roughly mark the edges of the property. The Zip Code is 92285, and the Thomas Map is 4748 C1.
