OFFICE MANAGER (Victorville)
compensation: $18-$20 per hour
PRE-REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS: Must display excellent verbal and written communication skills to include proper grammar, punctuation and spelling. Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment is required. High School diploma required; bachelor degree preferred. Experience working in an educational setting preferred.
WORK HOURS: Monday - Friday, 8:00a.m. - 5:00p.m. Hours may vary based on specific campus needs, but will not exceed 8 hours per day without the written authorization of the employee's supervisor.
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: Under the general supervision of the Principal, performs a variety of administration functions to include filing, customer service, data collection and reporting, scheduling and coordinating.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The essential duties of the position include, but are not limited to the items below:
◦REsponsible for answering telephone, announcing callers or taking written messages.
◦Greeting/screening guests, passing out applications, direct to appropriate person.
◦Typing - including report cards, progress reports, correspondence, etc.
◦Maintaining student files.
◦Attend meetings and take minutes as needed.
◦Receive and distribute mail.
◦Typing and distributing correspondence for site administration.
◦Additional duties as assigned.
◦Work with previous school districts, SELPA collecting and tracking information used in the development of transcripts/credits.
◦Maintain log of information collected including date, name and phone number.
◦Reviews One to One Aide logs for accuracy and completeness and forwards to Accounts Receivable weekly.
◦Files pertinent documents in student cumulative files.
◦Provides copies of student attendance to teachers daily.
◦Files Break Logs, Parent/Teacher Phone Logs, Lesson Plans and other documents.
◦Responds to student records requests by providing requested documents and information as appropriate.
◦Work with Principal to create and maintain campus roster and forward to corporate administration weekly.
◦Collect staff timesheets, enroll new staff into the timeclock, update and submit staff call of list daily, and distribute and collect staff time off request forms.
◦Complete workers' compensation forms, send staff to clinic, and forward information to Human Resources for staff work injuries.
◦Maintain staff attendance tracker and forward to Human Resources weekly.
◦Maintain student information/attendance in Aeries software.
◦Schedule IEP's and maintain schedule board.
◦Administer intake packet for new students.

Employees may also be exposed to students' bodily fluids, including feces, urine, vomit, semen, vaginal discharge, etc. Some students may need assistance with toiletting, diaper changing, eating, and other personal hygiene functions, which may increase the exposure to bodily fluids.
