I am a fourth grade teacher who volunteers to list books online for a local Friends of the Library group. We had a set of 34 Uncorrected Proofs donated recently by a book reviewer. We usually list books on Amazon, but Uncorrected Proofs not allowed. I know that there are collectors for this sort of thing, so I am offering the below list of Uncorrected Proofs for purchase.

Almost all of the books are unread. Many of the books have a plain colored card stock cover with black printing. Others have the regular glossy pictorial soft cover with "Uncorrected Proof" noted somewhere on the front.

In no particular order, the titles are as follows: Legends of the American Desert by Alex Shoumatoff (1997), card stock cover, very good+; Bone Walker by Kathleen Gear (2001), card stock cover, very good+ ; Close Range by Annie Proulx (1999) glossy soft pictorial cover, like-new; Spring Collection by Judith Krantz (1996) glossy soft pictorial cover, like-new; Adams vs. Jefferson (2004) Uncorrected Advance Reading Copy, semi-gloss soft pictorial cover, like-new; The Last River by Todd Bale (2000) semi-gloss pictorial soft cover, like-new; Animals in Spirit by Penelope Smith (2008) card stock cover, like-new; Georgia O'Keeffe, A Life by Roxana Robinson (1989) card stock cover, slightly soiled; The Immortal Bobby by Ron Rapoport (2005) Advance Uncorrected Proof, card stock cover, very good+ with small cover bend; The Lost Masters by Curt Sampson (2005) card stock cover, like-new; The Lone Star, The Life of John Connally by James Reston, Jr. (1999) card stock cover, very good; The Perfect Golf Swing by Michael Breed (2008) card stock cover, very good+; American Brutus by Michael Kauffman (2004) glossy design cover, very good+; Nixonland by Rick Perlstein (2008) glossy pictorial cover, very good+; The Lost Years of Merlin (1996) glossy pictorial cover, very good+; Hank & Chloe by Jo-Ann Mapson (1993) card stock cover, very good+; The Time of Our Lives by Tom Brokaw (2001) glossy plain design, like-new; The Fifth Woman by Henning Mankell (Eng. translation 2000) glossy pictorial design, like-new; The Mysterious Flame of Queen Loana by Umberto Eco (2004) glossy pictorial cover, like-new; Dune: House Atreides by Brian Herbert and Kevin Anderson (1999) plain card stock cover, very good+; Roseanne, My Life as a Woman by Roseanne Barr (1989) plain card stock, very good; The Arrival by Fred Saberhagen (1999) plain card stock, like-new; Touching the Rock by John Hull (1991) glossy pictorial cover; The Te of Piglet by Benjamin Hoff (1992) plain card stock, lightly read with moderate cover wear & soiling; All the King's Men (Restored Edition) by Robert Penn Warren (2001) plain card stock, like-new; Lincoln at Cooper Union by Harold Holzer (2004) plain card stock, like-new; Plausible Denial by Mark Lane (1991) plain card stock, very good, unread, but with cosmetic tears on the spine; South Park and Philosophy by Robert Arp (2007) semi-gloss cover trimmed in black fabric tape, good; Ascending Peculiarity by Karen Wilkin (2001) plain card stock, some storage wear; The Wettest County in the World, bound galley but no author, publisher, or date; Teacher Man by Frank McCourt (2005) plain card stock, very good+; Fresh Kills by Bill Loehfelm (2008) glossy soft cover with some storage wear; The Monkey Bible by Mark Laxer (2010) Includes "The Line," an unopened companion music CD by Eric Maring, glossy soft cover, very good; and State of Mind by John Katzenbach (1997) glossy soft cover, very good.

I would naturally like to sell the entire collection at once to save work and space--I have over 2,000 books here at home and the boxes are multiplying weekly. We are pricing this collection at $175 for the lot, which comes out to be about $5 per book--some are worth considerably more. While I would rather not sell the titles individually, if there is one that really attracts your attention, let me know. $20 per book plus $5 for shipping sounds right.

Please call or email Brian at show contact info with questions or for more information. If driving distance is a factor, I can meet you halfway, as I have done for other customers. I am also willing to mail this set for the cost of shipping via Media Mail. 100% of the proceeds from this sale will go to support the children's programs at our local library.
